The Mary Ann Hepworth was retired in 1974 after 36 years of service, having saved 201 lives. Now you can take a really enjoyable and exciting 30 minute trip along the coast in this lovingly restored and historically important lifeboat. Their excellent Old Whitby Lifeboat website has a comprehensive history of the boat and full details of where to board.
