Dalby Forest is situated 12 miles south of Whitby and is a beautifully managed woodland area with a host of activities for all the family. The nine mile forest drive is just the start; there is an excellent Visitor Centre, endless walks, an orienteering course, graded mountain bike routes and a "Go Ape" high wire forest adventure trail. The Purple Mountain Centre offers bike hire and will guide you to a route best suited to your experience, be you novice or expert. After your ride you can relax in their cafe.
