Cunard's latest luxury ocean going liner, the Queen Elizabeth, steams past Whitby golf course. Where else can you play with a view like that?

Whitby Golf Club was founded in 1892 and over the years has developed into a beautiful course with a fine club house. Although the course is short by some standards it still presents a most enjoyable challenge as the wind off the North Sea can be fickle - often changing direction during a round.
The course is very popular with visitors and has hosted several Pro-am events, while the Professional runs his own competitions in the summer on Bank Holiday Mondays.

The Clubhouse
The club is open to all at very reasonable rates and new members are welcome. With panoramic views out to sea and a great variety of holes, the course really is a delight to play.
